Personal information we collect

Legal bases / purposes (Canada)
We collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, with consent where required, or as otherwise permitted or required by law (including to meet legal obligations, protect vital interests, or investigate fraud/security incidents).
Disclosure
We may share personal information with:

We do not sell personal information.
Cross-border transfers
Personal information may be stored or processed outside Canada (including in the United States) by us or our providers. While outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access by foreign courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities. We use contractual and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide the Services, and to meet legal, accounting, and security requirements. When no longer required, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention schedule.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Report suspected vulnerabilities or incidents to security@cinamate.com.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing (without affecting prior lawful processing). To exercise rights, email privacy@cinamate.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial commissioner.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact privacy@cinamate.com.

The Services may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
