Use Mentor as a production journey
Classify the material, follow a phase-based checklist, and ask specialists when a connected advice runtime is available.
Give Mentor the current material
Paste text or choose Use the script already in this project, then Read it. Mentor classifies the material as idea, treatment, or screenplay and uses the shared estimator for shape and scale. Treatment and idea measurements are labelled estimates and should not be used as a shooting schedule.
Follow the earliest unfinished phase
The journey spans Development, Prep, Shoot, Post, and Release. Current phase is the earliest phase with applicable work left, even if later tasks have been touched. Next action names the first unfinished applicable step and links to the room where work happens.
Record decisions reversibly
Mark done stores completion. Set aside records why a step does not apply and removes it from active progress. Both can be reversed. Use Done when as the test; a tick alone does not create the named document or decision.
Choose advice or reference material
Ask sends the step to its named adviser when a connected runtime is available; asking again replaces the saved answer. Read the lesson opens the underlying craft chapter and does not require advice. Copy an answer you need before asking again.
Deconstruct reference footage
Add stills or a clip to request a camera, lens, lighting, grade, practical-versus-composite, and equipment interpretation. Video is sampled into still frames; the full video is not the analysis input. Results must state uncertainty. Remove deletes a saved reading.
