Prepare safety, clearance, and deal records
Use screenplay scans to start professional review, prepare paper, and avoid treating a planning record as approval.
Assess screenplay hazards
In Safety, choose Assess the script. The scan flags named categories such as weapons, stunts, fire, water, vehicles, heights, animals, electrical, aerial, night, and crowd work. Keyword results can over-report or miss hazards described differently. A clean scan is a prompt for qualified review, not a declaration that the day is safe.
Prepare the safety pack
Enter Prepared by, review generated controls and responsible specialists, then Copy or Download for the call sheet pack. Build checklist can scope the morning meeting to scene numbers. Editing Prepared by regenerates the document, so enter it before manual edits. Log incidents with event, action, and injury status.
Model specialist costs carefully
Paid-duty police and animal sections provide planning calculators and limited directory guidance. Confirm the service, minimum call, rates, restrictions, permits, and supervision. Commit to Money Room adds a new open commitment each time; correct duplicates in Finance.
Run the pre-E&O clearance scan
In Clearance, choose Scan the screenplay and review music references, phone numbers, archival footage, real people, brands, artwork, currency, and signage. Set each finding to pending, cleared, rewritten, or accepted risk. False positives are expected. Accepted risk remains a disclosure. Re-scan after rewrites.
Resolve readiness blockers
The readiness banner combines the current scan with chain of title, music, and insurance records. Read the named blockers. Draft letter prepares a materials permission request, sync request, location release, or appearance release for counsel; it does not obtain permission or legal approval.
Prepare deals without claiming a signature
Deal Memos can draft from Crew or create a crew memo, cast agreement, or NDA. Complete rate source, effective date, terms, and contact details; Regenerate from terms updates the draft. Prepare signing file records a revision and document hash but does not sign or send it. Only verified completion evidence from a connected signing workflow can mark it signed and create a commitment. Counsel should review before signature.
