Plan sets in 2D and 3D

Lay out a stage in feet, test camera coverage, and export plans or reference geometry.

Use Set Designer for planning

Create or select a set plan, enter its name, dimensions, and scenes, then place walls, doors, windows, furniture, cameras, lights, and custom boxes. Measurements are in feet and pieces snap to a half-foot grid. The result is a planning model, not an engineered construction drawing.

Edit real dimensions

Select a piece to edit width, depth, height, off-floor position, rotation, label, and colour where available. Removing a piece is immediate and has no undo; deleting a set plan asks once and removes everything on it. Export plans you need before rebuilding a design.

Check lens and format coverage

Place a Camera, choose capture format, focal length, aperture, and focus distance, then inspect field of view and depth of field. A blocking mark can supply the focus target. Look through locks the 3D view to that camera and shows safety guides. There is no anamorphic squeeze or delivery-crop control.

Stand up the plan

Choose 3D to orbit, pan, zoom, and select the same pieces shown in Plan. Camera frustums show coverage. Light objects mark placement but do not simulate intensity, colour temperature, falloff, or shadows. If WebGL is unavailable, the 2D plan and exports remain usable.

Choose an export

SVG exports a labelled vector plan; PNG a raster plan; OBJ geometry in feet without material colours; STL geometry whose numbers also represent feet, though STL declares no unit. Many slicers assume millimetres, so scale by 304.8 when appropriate. Send the SVG with model files when labels matter.
