Plan post-production and release

Build a dated post plan, manage VFX and music evidence, screen the cut, and track release readiness.

Build the post plan

In Post, schedule backward from delivery or forward from a start date, then review Calendar, Kanban, or Table. Enter actual dates as work completes. Export .ics to add the plan to a calendar application. Connect Google Calendar is currently marked planned; use the .ics export for calendar handoff. Clear resets the post plan, so export first.

Track VFX shots to final

Use the VFX board to identify shots, capture plate and reference requirements, collect bids, award work, and track finals. Awarding or committing a bid can create a Money Room commitment, so confirm the vendor and amount before the action. Review final media in the finishing system; a board status alone is not technical approval.

Build music evidence and cue records

Scan the screenplay for music references, create and edit cues, attach rights evidence, and export the cue sheet. Provider handoff prepares a brief for an external service; it does not license, compose, deliver, or clear music automatically. Confirm ownership, territory, term, media, fee, and signed evidence with counsel or music supervision.

Turn screenings into actionable notes

Load a local review video, record timecoded notes, and resolve decisions with the team. Send open notes to Editor replaces the current editor markers with the open screening notes, so export or copy markers that must be preserved first. Confirm the notes against the exact cut version and timecode.

Use rights gates before outreach

Distribution tracks materials, windows, rights, and screener readiness. Treat unresolved rights as a stop condition. Festivals can organize targets and preparation, but the product does not submit an application or verify festival rules. Confirm current deadlines, fees, premiere status, and deliverables with each recipient.

Keep finance planning provisional

Investor and tax-credit rooms help organize scenarios, records, and readiness. They do not provide securities advice, accept investment, file an incentive application, certify eligible spend, or guarantee an award. Use current counsel, accounting, and jurisdictional guidance before circulating figures.

Hand technical delivery to specialists

CINAMATE can export review movies, edit interchange, cue sheets, schedules, registers, and readiness records. It does not create a DCP or IMF package, perform an online conform, make a 5.1 or M&E mix, run broadcaster QC, submit festivals, execute distribution deals, or file incentive claims. Give the specialist source media, reference exports, and verified records.
