Build the stripboard, DOOD, and call sheets
Seed screenplay scenes, assign shoot days, learn pace from wrapped work, and issue day paperwork.
Seed scenes from the current script
Open Producer Suite → Schedule and choose Seed scenes from script. Each screenplay scene becomes a strip in the Boneyard. Re-seeding replaces existing strips, including day assignments, notes, page edits, and breakdown tags, so use it only after a real script revision and save a project backup first.
Break down and assign strips
Double-click a strip to edit slugline, page count, day or night, cast, background, notes, and special-work tags. Drag strips into days, or choose Auto-schedule in Script order or Group by location. Unschedule all returns every strip to the Boneyard immediately and has no undo.
Turn day numbers into dates
Use the day planner to enter the first shoot date, shooting location or coordinates, weekend policy, and day count. Date and unit identify a shoot day, allowing main and additional units on the same calendar date. Confirm the production’s local date and unit before logging takes or issuing paper.
Use a planning or learned pace
The board starts at 4.5 pages per day. Once at least three days are explicitly wrapped and contain usable take evidence, the page can derive a median achieved pace. A typed Target pages/day overrides it; Use learned pace removes the override. The pace chip says whether the number is default, learned, or manual.
Review the Day-out-of-Days
Choose Day-out-of-Days to inspect cast work, holds, drops, starts, pickups, and finishes. The grid applies stored planning rules and cannot see outside availability or prove that notice was served. Confirm engagement terms with production counsel, payroll, and representatives.
Build and issue a call sheet
Choose the clipboard control on a day. Enter the general crew call and verify scenes, pages, cast calls, sets, access, parking, load-in, hospital, department calls, walkies, meals, turnaround, weather, and advance schedule. Save records editable details; Issue / print stamps the revision and opens printing. CINAMATE does not distribute the sheet.
